Dubbed the Queen of Networking by her large network of women entrepreneurs, Melinda has over 25 years experience in senior and executive corporate management. A CPA by profession ("but not by personality", she says), Melinda has coached hundreds of employees to excellence in her roles as CFO of numerous companies, CEO of a multi-million dollar enterprise, award-winning speaker, and (most recently) a best-selling author. She founded T-Zone Consulting, Inc. in 2006 to help others break boundaries and design their own lives. Her speaking skills have captivated and entertained thousands! Melinda is a member of NSA, IAC, NAFE, NAWBO, AICPA and TSCPA. Melinda is also a musician who plays bass guitar and sings in her classic rock band, Live Wire! She enjoys riding her horse and playing with her many dogs, cats and other critters on her Texas Hill Country ranch.
Lacey’s experience in the data verification and sales support department of a highly recognized mutual funds company and her five+ years accounting experience brings technical depth to T-Zone. Her bachelor’s degree is in anthropology, but she has also worked for over five years in the accounting field and in a research capacity for several organizations. These skills provide T-Zone Consulting, Inc. with excellent technical and research capabilities. Lacey’s hobbies include archaeology, music and travel. She has participated in several archaeological digs in Europe.
Jane has over 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance, working in various service and distribution industries. Her experience in financial analysis and accounting management is a great asset to T-Zone Consulting, Inc. Born in Ayrshire, Scotland, Jane came to the States in her late teens. She can be heard every now and then to say “Oh, bloody hell!” In her spare time she loves to take camping trips and has recently begun to knit and crochet.
Tina is T-Zone’s Training Director and Senior Certified Instructor. Tina has her BBA in Human Resources and Payroll Management. She is a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Texas in San Antonio. Tina has over 10 years experience in Human Resources and related fields, including conducting many training programs in both English and Spanish. She volunteers in numerous organizations including SAHRMA, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in San Antonio, and the Texas Diversity Council. Tina has two sons and enjoys following their school activities. In her down time, she likes to relax reading a good book and enjoys hiking outdoors.
Madge has over 28 years experience in senior/executive corporate management in the real estate and mortgage fields. She has a BA in Sociology and Communication Arts from Texas Lutheran University. After spending the first 20 years of her career on the corporate operations side, she switched 8 years ago to working one-on-one with consumers so she could enjoy the accomplishment of helping people reach their personal financial goals. That has been so much more rewarding on a personal level. She has also been one of the leading real estate trainers in the Central Texas area. What better combination for working with groups of people to enrich their lives through financial literacy? Madge is a musician and songwriter who plays guitar and sings and has spent the last 20 years fronting a country dance band. Yee haw!
Cindy is the "person behind the scenes" who oversees T-Zone Consulting's communication effort. Whether it be web site management, presentations, instructional materials, promotion, advertising, etc., Cindy brings her 25 years of business experience to the team. She is the president of Affordable Words, Inc. along with being the creator/author of the forthcoming book, "Decluttering for Dollars: Clear Your Space, Make Some Money, Change Your Life." She holds certifications in Paralegal, Interior Designer, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. A native of Southern California (Ventura), Cindy now lives just outside of Atlanta, GA with her husband of 20 years, Jeff, and their 2 dogs and 6 cats (although the cat count can fluctuate upwards at any time!).
A self-professed music freak, Facil pulls himself away from his greatest love and handles all the IT and AV needs for T-Zone Consulting. After a brief stint at UT Austin and then San Antonio College, Facil joined the United States Navy and entered the Submarine Fleet as an Electronics Technician on the USS Michigan. He was responsible the navigation and communications equipment, as well as ships photographer and division supply officer. Facil mentored/trained junior members on professionalism both in the Navy and their personal lives, ensuring they demonstrated the ability to manage their own finances and maintain their duties and responsibilities in the Navy. Facil has studied Anthropology and Political Science, as well as Computer Science at ITT. He has traveled extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Hawaiian Island of Oahu.
